Your own Hummus by Jas

Ingredients:

  • 1 tin chick peas,
  • 3 tbspns tahini paste,
  • 1 tspn garlic minced,
  • ½ tspn cumin seeds,
  • ½ cup lemon juice,
  • 2 tbspns olive oil,
  • Salt & pepper to taste,
  • Fresh parsley to garnish,

Preparation:

  1. Add chick peas, minced garlic, and lemon juice to the processor
  2. Add tahini paste & stir, add olive oil, yogurt & cumin
  3. Add salt & pepper to taste
  4. Add fresh parsley & drizzle with olive oil.

  1. Thanks Jackie, according to the thickness you like, i like a custardy texture and use half a large container 🙂
