At Burgess Hill Shed members build unique items, from simple birdhouses to intricate furniture, using various types of wood. The process encourages patience, focus, and problem-solving, making it both relaxing and fulfilling. Many enjoy the tactile satisfaction of working with their hands and the joy of transforming raw materials into something beautiful and useful.
Members are invited to use the extensive woodworking equipment, knowing that there is always help and advice at hand, should they want it. This interest group meets Tues, Wed and Thur between 9.30 and 3pm.
